Be Inspired at the Night of the Arts

Be inspired on Friday, May 30, 2008 when the
Education Foundation of Greendale hosts the 4th
annual Night of the Arts fundraising event. This
celebration of the arts will be held at The Polish
Center of Wisconsin, 6971 South 68th Street, Franklin
and will highlight the creative achievements of
Greendale students, alumni and residents. The gala
will begin at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres,
entertainment and a cash bar. It will feature
performances by student music and drama ensembles, as
well as showcase a student, alumni and resident art
exhibition. In addition, a silent auction, raffle and
art sale will be held. This is a special opportunity
for foundation board members, local civic leaders,
faculty, students, parents, businesses and residents
to join together in acknowledgement and appreciation
of the arts in the Greendale community.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased after April 21 at the following locations: Greendale High School, weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.; Greendale Park and Recreation Office, weekdays 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Tuesdays until 6:30 p.m.; and on Broad Street in Greendale at the Reiman Visitor Center and Layton State Bank during regular business hours.
In 1998, friends and supporters of the Greendale School District established the Education Foundation of Greendale, Inc. This year marks the 10th anniversary of this nonprofit corporation’s mission to fund creative and innovative programs that enrich the education of students in the Greendale School District. Over the past decade, the foundation has generated more than $160,000 in grants.
